July 2014. There are two bands that I have been following for nearly 5 years.
Paint It Blue are a very good blues band from Bournemouth. Hannah Robinson has been their talented lead vocalist and is now leaving to pursue a solo career based in London. Her new album is Oil and Turpentine. Catch her live.
Paint it Blue with versatile lead guitarist Pete "Pedro" Quintin will be continuing with a new lead vocalist.
Electric River are an excellent modern heavy / melodic rock band that have been building a following and refining their act with plenty of live shows. Their first album The Faith and the Patience received a 4 star review in the Sun on 7 July 2014.
Recent music memories
I'm grateful that many of you have enjoyed the memories from the '70s. I've been lucky enough to go to some great and good gigs recently too, so here's a similar page in development with more pics.
